Dan joined the firm in 1998 and serves as a manager. Dan is a Certified Public Accountant with over ten years experience in public accounting, all with Weinhold, Nickel & Company, LLP. He has experience in individual, corporate, and partnership income tax return preparation, as well as audited, reviewed, and compiled financial statements. Dan has experience in various industries including manufacturing, construction, retail, service, non-profit, and governmental entities.
Dan has extensive experience in the non-profit and governmental audit areas. His professional education complies with the requirements of Government Auditing Standards. Dan is a member of the Best Software Accountants Network and provides set-up, training, and support services to our clients using QuickBooks® & Peachtree® software.
Dan graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration concentrating in Accounting at Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 1997. Subsequently, he worked in the private sector for a multi-national corporation in the manufacturing industry for about a year. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Dan was raised in Denver/Ephrata community and now resides in Reinholds with his wife, Ralyssa, daughters, Breana and Caitlyn, and son, Andrew. Dan is an active member of the East Cocalico Church of the Brethren. Dan is a diehard football fan and enjoys taking walks in the country, playing cards and spending time with friends and family.
